Busy Bee

Shelby has been super busy this week. She met lots of new people: Cindy and Zane on Sunday and Judy, Cliff, Janet, and Aunt Helen on Thursday. Grammy babysat twice. Then on Friday, Grandma, Shelby, and I went to the Zoo. I sure think the membership is already paying off!

Shelby has been rolling around all over since she's learned this gets her places. She stopped just long enough for Andy to "hang out" with her!

Another Zoo Trip

Shelby, Mommy, and Daddy went to the Zoo again today. Shelby still really likes the Jungle and also waving at all the other kids, mommies, and daddies. I think she enjoyed watching the people more than the animals!

Zoo Day

Shelby experienced her first trip to the Zoo this afternoon. While walking up to the entrance, we ran into one of Momma's friends and said "hi". This intimidated Shelby and she started to cry. Uh oh, I thought, this isn't a good start. So, I took her out of the stroller and carried her in. (next time, we might skip the stroller and use a hip hammock instead...) She was very quiet taking in all of the sights and sounds. She really enjoyed the Jungle. In fact, it may have been her favorite, so far! We also got to see the gorillas active and playing with one another. (she's not sure what to think about them "writing on/smearing" the glass! eeeew, gross!. She was pooped (no pun intended) after an hour and a half, but mentioned she'd like to return soon. :)
