Big Girl Bed

Shelby was so excited when we converted her crib into a toddler bed...until it was time for lights out. For several weeks she would say "I'm scared" when it was time to get into bed. The first week she would tell us she didn't like the bed. We've had many "fun" evenings of Shelby sneaking out of her room and "tiptoeing" (running loudly) around the house to see what we were doing. We ended up having to put up a baby gate over her door to keep her in her room. We haven't had to use it for the past week or two, but actually had to use it tonight.

Someday, she'll value her sleep! :)
